The Development Policy Research Month (DPRM) is celebrated every September to encourage the use of data and evidence in planning and policymaking among the country’s leaders and the public at large. It also aims to raise the public’s literacy on socioeconomic issues.
The DPRM is led by the Philippine Institute for Development Studies, the country's foremost socioeconomic think tank, pursuant to Presidential Proclamation 247 signed in 2002.
